Castaway Foundries is unique because it brokers a bronze casting service of limited edition sculptures and single-order monumental sculptures in bronze or marble for sculptors who wish to keep their costs down by casting or carving abroad, in China, where the lower cost of living and labour translate into savings to you.

Turn-around time may be slightly longer than casting domestically because of shipping time (both ways), but this is offset by much cheaper bronze casting prices, even taking into account import duties on your sculpture(s) back into the UK.

Here are some sample sculptures and costs for limited edition casting and the bronze casting of monumental sculpture. Please remember however that they are merely indicative. As you well know, each piece of sculpture is completely unique in its size, weight, volume, intricacy or simplicity of detail, all of which will have a bearing on costs of labour and transport.

When you send us pics of your artwork, plus all relevant details (size, etc.), we will be able to give you a free quotation of approximate costs for bronze casting and shipping both ways. Any variations from that quote which you request when placing your order will not be reflected in that initial quote. A final quote will be sent to you when we receive the hard copy of the sculpture you wish to cast.
